Head Coach Harley Mason and the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ women’s triathlon team will look to three-peat at the national championships in Clermont, Florida, this weekend.
LR took home the title in 2022 in Clermont and 2023 in Tempe, Arizona. Seven athletes will be competing for the Bears this year.
Reigning individual champion Sabrina Fleig will lead the charge for LR in the A wave. She will be joined by Zoila Sicilia, Eliska Rihova, Claudia Teran-Romagosa and Maidi Quezada-O’Connor.
Freshman Isis Gaskin and Alessandra Maso will represent the Bears in the B wave.
The race was originally supposed to take place on Saturday, Nov. 9, at Lake Louisa State Park. However, due to damage from Hurricane Milton, the race will take place over two days with the lake swim on Friday and the bike and run portion of the race on Saturday.
